An online bookshop for TSP Book Centre: 10,000 titles synced with 1C
We built an online bookshop for TSP Book Centre from the client’s existing design: custom WordPress without WooCommerce, a catalogue of about 10,000 titles, filters by language, level, and age, 1C integration, and an easy checkout. We have supported the site since 2021.

The client and the brief
TSP Book Centre has been selling textbooks and books from European publishers for more than 20 years to people learning English, German, French, and other languages. Its customers are language learners, readers, and teachers, and each of them looks for a book in their own way: by language, level, age, or publisher.
The design was already in place. What the client needed from us was development: turning the mock-ups into a working store where catalogue data comes from the accounting system instead of being typed in by hand.

What we did
- Custom WordPress development without WooCommerce. The catalogue, product pages, cart, and checkout are built around the way a bookshop works.
- A catalogue of about 10,000 titles with filters by language, publisher, subject, CEFR level, and age group.
- Sections for three audiences: “I’m learning”, “I’m reading”, and “I’m teaching”. Teachers get publisher materials, seminars, course plans, and official textbook approvals gathered in their section.
- 1C integration: catalogue data is synchronised with the accounting system.
- Checkout: pickup in Kyiv, courier delivery, or a Nova Poshta branch or parcel locker. Customers pay in cash on collection, cash on delivery, by bank transfer, or online. Promo codes and orders on behalf of a company are supported.
- An account for returning customers with a cumulative discount.

The result
The store has been live since 2021, and we have supported and developed it ever since. The TSP team runs a 10,000-item catalogue without duplicating data between 1C and the website, and customers find a textbook at the right level in a few clicks.
Design, SEO, and advertising for the project were handled by other teams. Our part is development, integrations, and technical support.

We have worked with Strymba since 2021. Our old website was very slow, so the team built a new online store that is technically solid and fast, and they still support it. It also matters to us that our ten-thousand-item catalogue syncs with 1C, so our managers don’t have to re-enter data by hand. When new tasks come up, we get a clear plan and calmly move forward.
